PTY Property has now teamed up with Colliers International to add Live Online Bidding to their NSW Auction Portfolio events. Yesterday we attended their NSW Autumn Auction Portfolio. Colliers International has 20 properties from around the state comprising of: development land, vacant buildings and childcare centres with long term leases. The auctions took place at the Colliers International Sydney CBD office and had a combined value of more than 65 million.

When James Snodgrass, the principal at Forsyth, contacted us a week ago and asked us to help webcast out one of his auctions the answer was obviously yes. James needed our service to webcast out the auction because the vendor was interstate and could not be at the auction.

At the Century 21 Cordeau Marshall auctions last night, being held at the Pymble Golf Club, 6 auctions were up for sale with 4 being sold prior to auction. There was standing room only with at least 60 people interested in the remaining 2 properties.

Michael Pallier of Raine and Horne Double Bay called us on November 3rd with an urgent request. They were selling 93 Victoria Road Bellevue Hill (also known as “Le Manoir”) at auction on November 6th at 6:00 PM and they had a high profile celebrity wanting to watch and bid on the auction in real-time. The high profile celebrity was on business in the US.

There is always a first for everything and tonight’s auction was no exception. An expat couple, Brad and Anne, in China decided that 9 Carina Road Turramurra (marketed by William Robinson of Century 21 Cordeau Marshall) was what they wanted and purchased the property site unseen using the Live Online Bidding service.

We attend a Century 21 Cordeau Marshall auction at Pymble Golf Club last night. Five of the original 10 had been sold prior leaving only five to be auctioned. There was one auction in particular the stood out. That was 193 Ryde Road, West Pymble which had been marketed by Thomas Skelly.

Robert Cinelli of Coldwell Banker Elite Properties, QLD was auctioning off a property this week but he had a problem. His best bidders, a couple from Brisbane, were concerned that they might not be able to make the auction because the husband could not leave work any earlier than 5 PM from Brisbane. The auction was at 6 PM at Currumbin RSL (Gold Coast).

Stewart Malony from Century 21 Caringbah, NSW had a 1 bedroom apartment, in Caringbah, up for auction last week at Hurstville Civic Centre. The 6 unit apartment block had been built on a large block of land giving the apartment block a very big back yard. The strata title on the apartment block was also interesting. Each unit had a claim to a percentage of the land.
