On Sunday the 4th of October, the enthusiastic folks here at PTY Property had the special honour of donating our online broadcasting and live online bidding services to the Channel 7’s annual “Telethon Home” project.

In partnership with In Vogue and Mirvac, the telephon featured this stunning two storey, 4 bedroom dream of a beach home to be auctioned off to the highest bidder, and all proceeds were going directly to the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children in Western Australia.

Channel 7 was broadcasting the event live, and as with any live event, they brought an impressive spectator crowd along with them.

It wasn’t all just spectators in the crowd though: amid the audience were some highly energetic bidders, both online and at site, who were all very keen to win the home, and this determination became obvious as the friendly bidding rivalries pushed the final sale price of the property all the way up to an impressive $862,000! Now THAT’S a donation to charity! Agents from Century 21’s Coast Realty Mandurah and Gavin (the head honcho here at PTY Property) were very happy about the results.

So by the end of a single day, a lucky couple won a beautiful new home, the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children received an exceptional donation, and the bighearted staff here at PTY Property helped to make dreams come true.
